Botham 80 Series Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

This award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon celebrates Lord Botham’s achievements in test history when in 1980 he was the first player in test history to score a century and take 10 wickets in the same match.

The Coonawarra is famous for its long-lived and rich Cabernet Sauvignon grown on their unique ‘terra rossa’ soils. Botham 80 Series lives up to its expectations and is packed with all the hallmarks of a great wine.  This is drinking well now but has some serious staying power with years ahead to evolve and age gracefully in your cellar.

Tasting Note

Coonawarra Cabernet has a distinct granite and menthol characteristic that frame the core of dark blackcurrant fruit thanks to the unique terra rossa (red earth) that the Coonawarra is famous for. This is a dark and powerful Cabernet and true to its origins. Decant before serving.
